The good news is, you’re the pilot.”

About Me

If you’ve made it this far, thank you. I hope you have got to attend one of my drug awareness events and if so, I hope you have taken something from it.

My name is Conor Harris, I am a 24 year old footballer from Rathcoffey who spent most of his teenage years playing for Kildare. After 2 years of drug abuse and a harrowing battle with addiction, I’ve made an incredible recovery. I am very grateful to say that on the 17th of July 2024, I celebrated 5 years of sobriety.

Having experienced addiction firsthand, I’m passionate about showing the younger generation that you can live an amazing life beyond drugs and alcohol. That’s why I’ve begun this journey called “The Other Side Of Life.”

My mission is to reach as many schools, GAA cubs, and youth centres as possible, hoping to inspire and become a role model for the kids of our generation.

If you or someone else you know is struggling from drug abuse, it’s crucial to seek professional help as soon as possible.
